Chef Pawel Gago moved to Arcata in 1999 from Southern California to attend Humboldt State University. After working in several high end restaurants in the area, Gago honed his skills by working under some of the best chefs in the area. His background in old world Polish cuisine, as well as a passion for bold latin and asian flavors, have helped him create a menu that is both eclectic and creative. Pizza Gago uses local produce, as well as local and sustainable meats. This is the heart of the Farm to Farm experience.
